You must complete the necessary prerequisites and are responsible for determining that you have done so before registering. Please talk with your academic advisor or dean to assure that you have the appropriate preparation, referencing the prerequisites listed on the Schedule of Classes.
A full-time academic load in Winter Session is a single course. Individuals who want to take more than one course in Winter Session must secure approval from their academic advisor or dean and present it in writing to the registrar.
Winter Session is not recommended for high school or younger students, due to the session's intensive format and course schedule conflicts with high school classes. However, in very exceptional circumstances, a gifted student who is being home-schooled may be considered for Winter Session. Contact us for information.
Winter Session is not recommended for Rutgers first-year students or students with less than a 2.0 GPA. Such individuals must secure approval from their academic advisor or dean and present it in writing to the registrar.
